About Us

        In late July 2014, Toni Franco, single mother of two was praying asking God for a job to help support her children. She had been unemployed for a little over a year and had already exhausted all her savings including her retirement plan. Money was tight and she did not know how to make ends meet, if she did not find a job soon. She wanted to be bold and asked God in her prayer for a job that paid a salary of $5k monthly, though she had never before earned that much money in any of her previous employers; she new that she was trusting God: The powerful, The Almighty.

        She truly believed in God’s promise, that had been given to her: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29: 11-13). Toni knew that God would answer her prayer, she just did not know when......

        Shortly, after weeping in prayer for a moment she received the long waited response, “It is finished…..", "But why do you ask for so little?.....” "you will have your own business.....” said, the peaceful, soft, loving voice inside her. At that moment she knew, that she knew, that she knew; it was God answering her prayer. 

        Some time in September under God's guidance, she purchased a used sewing machine, though she did not even know how to turn it on, let alone use it. Nevertheless, she trusted the promise she had been given just a little over a month before. Since then, she has seen God’s hand guiding her through the journey every step of the way: with God’s grace, creativity and wisdom she has learned how to sew and design new trendy moccasin styles for babies and toddlers. Six months later in March 2015, MyLO (My Little One) by Toni Franco, shop.mylomoccs.com was born.
