Mighty Power in Us

Posted by Toni Franco on

This morning I found myself particularly worried and afraid (about lack of finances), anxious about behavior changes I want for myself and for my children.
Been feeling tired lately. I need to start exercising again
(have gained quite a few lbs.)
My almost 3 year old has been unsuccessfully potty trained. (After more than a few months of trying).

I prayed to God to make His promises happen faster in my life, because I'm fainting. To give me grace upon grace and be able to endure these trials as I wait on Him, as I wait patiently for His promises to be fulfilled in my life.
He loves me so much! That He immediately answered my prayer and gave me these verses:

and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 1:19-23

These verses say that the power that raised Jesus from the grave, is at work in us. Though we do not control this power, we have complete access to it because God (The Holy Spirit) dwells in us. So as we try to do the work God has entrusted us to do, let's tap on this Mighty Power that we have accessibility to- to gain strength and be able to endure any trial (far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.) with peace and rest in Him.
