Spirit of Power and out of Fear - I can do all things through Christ

So here it goes almost a year later! I have not done this "weekly devotional" because I've let my fears and dread control my actions. I've let all the negative thoughts of not speaking well, not being able to express myself with big words (the right words), not having schooling to back me up, not having the capacity to write (or, rather type) a well-balance sentence or to communicate my thoughts and feelings clearly to you- The Audience. The Lord, has been speaking to me about this issue in so many subtle ways- which I Love Him for - He has been giving me people that comment on the blessing I'm to them, when they read something I wrote. He's been talking to me through preaching and most of all His Word. But, today it was different; today He showed me 2 verses which I am very Familiar with, but I had never experienced them deep inside my soul. One of those verses is Philippians 4:13 which is on my Instagram Bio, go figure! and the other one is 2nd Timothy 1:7

- I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose - I am self-sufficient in Christ's Sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace] Phil 4:13 (AMP)

- For God did not give us a Spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear but [He has given us a Spirit] of Power and of Love and of sound judgement and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self control] 2nd Tim 1:7

My heart was pounding as I was typing these verses! 

Joyce Meyer said: "the kind of day we have is, to a great degree, determined by our thoughts and actions". I'd like to add -the kind of day and spiritual growth we have is, to a great degree, determined by our thoughts an actions. And here I was not putting into action what GOD had already equipped me with: A Spirit of Power and Christ's strength in me. It is impossible to achieve God's given will for your life, if you allow negative thoughts rule and control you. 

Prayer: Loving Father God, please help us be in control of our feelings and actions,  no matter the circumstances. Help us be strong in You every day. Help us accomplish Your good works which You have already empowered us to do. Thank You, in Jesus name Amen!
